ABS System Connection Method:
1) When the tractor has no ABS: the tank semi trailer circuit is connected with the ABS circuit. When the tractor is connected with the tank semi trailer, it only need connect the tractor power plug with the tank semi trailer power socket.
2) When the tractor has ABS: When the tractor is connected with the semi trailer, It only need contact tractor ABS power plug with ABS power socket of the tank semi trailer.
3) After the main trailer is connected, it is necessary to test the brake first, and determine whether the ABS is in working condition according to the phenomenon of test run and the ABS manufacturer's instructions.
ABS System Matters Need Attention:
1) When repairing or implementing welding to the tractor, please disconnect tank semi trailer ABS power harness from controller connector or separate the tractor and tank semi trailer directly. Otherwise, the ABS system may be damaged.
2) When tank semi trailer is in the maintenance process, it must perform welding work to the tank semi trailer, remove ABS power harness from the controller connector. Otherwise, the ABS control system will be damaged. The controller is located on the 1st or 2nd axle of the tank semi trailer.
